ELEVATED THIRD
Senior UX / Digital Designer
October 2016 – Current
UX / Digital Designer
April 2014 – October 2016
Denver, Colorado
Under the creative director, I assist with leading and mentoring a team of 3 digital designers. Starting late summer of 2016, I spearheaded an overhaul of the UX Strategy and visual design for the new elevatedthird.com website, launched in March 2017. I was also selected to be part of a small internal initiative to increase web leads to the company's website through tracking performance and making incremental UX and design improvements.
In both my roles at Elevated Third, I execute UX and visual designs for clients. This typically includes research, benchmarking, creating user stories, working solo or with our content strategist to define the IA and structure of the website, and working through the UX/UI through wireframing, prototyping and visual designs of a website or app. I work with developers to put together web components and assist with the build spec, and I am involved with QA of each site I design before it launches.
I've worked on websites and projects for Colorado’s Legislature, Pinnacol Assurance, Macerich, Boulder Brands and the National Stroke Association. My work has included designs for web, mobile, apps and email designs, as well as video editing and production. Most recently, a campaign I directed for the State of Colorado's Regulatory Department received a Silver Davey Award.
